Yoga for the Relief of Shoulder, Neck and Back Pain

A strong, healthy back supports us through life – and keeps us balanced in body and mind. Pain lowers our quality of life significantly, impacting physical and mental health. The past months of lockdown have resulted in us working from home, often sitting at our desks for hours, hunched over a computer. Bad sitting posture, inadequate exercise and stress can be an unfortunate combination.
Pain in the neck, shoulder and back is something we have come to expect as a part of our everyday life- but it need not be so!

Learn to take care and relieve these nagging pains in this two-day workshop given by a medical doctor who is also a yoga teacher..

Meditative Mandala Drawing

Meditation begins by bringing awareness to a centred point. So too does the art of mandala drawing. This course will explore meditation through creativity, cultivating concentration, alleviating stress, and finding a sense of fulfillment in the moment. We will explore the beauty of the mandala and its symmetry through a creative act of our own. Two consecutive sessions.

Prerequisites
Please bring paper, pencils, eraser, ruler, protractor and pencil compass if you have these available
