Experience yoga in its traditional setting at Sivananda Kutir, a simple Ashram on the banks of the Ganga with the Himalayas rising behind. The Yoga Vacation programme offers more than rest – it is an immersion in daily practice, community living, and the timeless teachings of yoga.
From 16 April to 14 October, guests join the rhythm of Ashram life: two yoga classes a day, silent meditation at sunrise and sunset, chanting, lectures on philosophy, and wholesome vegetarian food. Devotional practices that have been part of India’s spiritual tradition for centuries are woven naturally into the day.
Whether you are new to yoga or have years of practice, the programme helps restore vitality, clarity, and balance. Rooted in the Five Points of Yoga taught by Swami Vishnudevananda, it is a direct way to build strength, quiet the mind, and open the heart.
