Sivananda Affiliated Centres operate independently – financially and administratively, however they bear the name Sivananda Yoga Centre and are promoted on Sivananda India digital platforms including website & social media.

Affiliation with Sivananda India offers centres the opportunity to become part of a trusted and well-established Yoga lineage with a presence across India and worldwide.

The Sivananda India Affiliation is intended for Yoga centres that wish to serve as outreach arms of Sivananda India and are committed to sharing Yoga in a traditional, disciplined, and sincere manner.

This programme is suitable for centres that

• Are led by teachers trained at Sivananda Ashrams
• Focus on regular Yoga practice and beginners courses
• Seek to build a stable and committed local Yoga community
• Are willing to work within the academic and ethical guidelines of Sivananda India*

This programme is not suitable for centres that

• Offer multiple Yoga styles or blended teaching approaches
• Function primarily as fitness, wellness, or lifestyle studios
• Operate as franchises or follow aggressive commercial growth models

• Are aligned with the Sivananda system of Yoga and promoted by TTC graduates of Sivananda
• Commit to institutional discipline and quality standards
• Agree to function as outreach arms of Sivananda India

Applications are not accepted from Thiruvananthapuram, Chennai, or Delhi, where Sivananda India operates its own centres.
