Does the Ashram need to verify original passports or ID proofs

Foreign nationals need to bring original passport with valid Indian Visa & arrival stamp to submit C-Form to FRRO, Govt. of India.
Indian nationals need to bring a valid and original ID proof such as Passport or Aadhar for check in at the reception.
